If this is the case I think I've corrected this in some version before
the one I released 2 days ago.
I think your problem might be that you have set the "Level 2 sort tag
name", if you instead just leave it empty you should be fine. The
reason is that it sounds like the problem isn't the sorting on the
GROUPING level it's the sorting on the track level. The track level
should be sorted according to "album asc, disc asc, tracknum asc" which
should give the correct result as long as you have the "show multi disc
albums as one album" option enabled. If you don't have "show multi disc
albums as one album" enabled it would also be correct but then you would
get duplicate album entries on the top which you probably doesn't want.
Of course, you will still have problem if the GROUPING level can't be
ordered alphabetically, it seems to be fine in this example but maybe
there are other cases where it isn't ?
You previously mentioned that the "show multi disc albums as separate
albums" option didn't show "(Disc 1)". Is this problem in another menu
? In the menu you describe above it seems to me like you don't want to
have "(Disc 1)" in the text since you want the discs to be shown as a
single album ?
