Reselecting and applying the change in Tunerplay settings does not
solve the problem.

I note that Custom-convert config apparently is passing the tuner card
name to VLC via "$TUNERDEVICE$", yet in dshow.txt the card is specified
in "Friendlyname".  Where is $TUNERDEVICE$" set equal to "Friendlyname"?
