Hi, I have a strange problem when using server power control.
First short info about my setup: I have a Mini-ITX system with a VIA EPIA EN15000G board. I'm running Ubuntu 8.04 and Squeezecenter 7.3.2. Now to my problem: Server power control puts my server into standby nicely. When I wake up the server with the power button (WoL doesn't work, if anyone has a good hint please post here http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=52108&page=2) I see a process called Xorg that is nearly consuming 100% CPU. First I thought that has nothing to do with server power control. But if I put my system to standby using the power button (I configured it to do so) and wake it up afterwards, there is no such Xorg process. Any idea how to solve this? Maybe it's important to say that I run the system without a screen. I use NoMachine/FreeNX to connect to the machine (I'm a linux noob and don't want to rely on the command line only). Is it correct that Xorg has something to do with the graphical user interface? I appreciate your help. -- sb11 ------------------------------------------------------------------------ sb11's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=4135 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=48521 _______________________________________________ plugins mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins
