The two features are not exactly complimentary...or mutually exclusive,
for that matter. There's some overlap. I'll have to think this
through....let me see...thinking out loud here...

The old "defer action" feature predated the idle timer watchdog
feature. So, "defer action" really was there so the user could start
sleep-playing, select a shutdown, and then forget about having to do
anything else. When the sleep-timer expired, the previously
"scheduled" shutdown would happen. I *think* (I'll have to check) that
the "scheduled" shutdown can be canceled at any time during
sleep-playing.

The "monitor idle players" feature really sort of takes away the need
for "defer action"...especially if the sleep-timer occurs during a
end-of-day period where you can set a shorter idle time-out.

"Monitor sleep timers" says: OK, IF there is a sleep timer, take the
action immediately upon conclusion of the sleep timer. Don't wait for
any idle period. The downside to this feature is that, so far, I don't
have a way of distinguishing between the sleep-timer ending, and the
sleep-timer being canceled. In the 2nd case, it would be nice if the
automatic shutdown action got canceled too. This is not the case with
the current code. I'll have to look into this.

Anyway, to me, it looks like the "defer action" is a mostly redundant
feature at this point. *Does anyone care passionately that the "defer
action" feature stays?* I'm all about trying to simplify
SrvrPowerCtrl's code going forward.

For your scenario, I suggest you try the "monitor sleep timers" feature
and set the action to "shutdown to SqueezeNetwork". Try that with a
short sleep timer (sleep until end of current song) and see if you like
the results. You *may* need to select the "switch ALL players" and
"power off connected players" features in the command tweaks section.
Try it with a couple of combinations of those settings and let me know
if it works as you would expect it to.
