i would say it's a calculated risk u need to take when trying our a NAS server for use with the SC.
stick to those commonly-used brands of NAS, and you should be pretty safe if u followed their helpful instructions exactly. I did that when I bought my LSL last week. My SB3 was working perfectly on my PC and wanted to explore PC-less playback.
