OK, new version (20090417) posted at the head of this thread:

---------------------------------
WHAT'S NEW IN RC8-20090417:
---------------------------------

-NEW FEATURE:-

Web interface!

SrvrPowerCtrl (optionally) appears on the SqueezeCenter home page
extras menu. Now you can control your server's power states via your
web browser.

Check the "Include menu options on Web Interface" option in the
settings.

With this setting enabled, a "Server Power Contol" entry shows up on
SqueezeCenter's web interface home page "Extras" menu. Any of the
basic commands that are enabled are now available through the web
interface. Thanks to indifference_engine for suggesting this.

-ENHANCEMENTS:-

Block files: block files can now be cleared from the CLI (clearblock)
and from the web UI. On linux systems, you must give the squeezecenter
user ownership of the block file and also write permissions to
/var/lock. On windows systems, you can block actions by creating a
file named C:\Windows\temp\spc-block.

Alarm wakup: for linux systems whose hardware clocks are set to local
time (the default for Ubuntu 8.10 and later) you can now call the
/usr/bin/scwakeup.sh script with a "%l" parameter. This %l parameter
will feed scwakeup.sh with the correct wakeup time, i.e. epoch time
fixed up for the local tz offest.

Please kick the tires on this new version. I'd especially appreciate
feedback on how well the web UI works / looks.

Thanks.
