The list is not a list of audio devices but a list of audio sources. For example the list does not include audio output which is the important aspect for "what u hear".
I'll ask the same question differently - is the Audigy an addin card and has the motherboard of your PC got a sound output socket (usually light green). When you go to Sound control panel/audio tab when you select "Audigy" as the "default device". Click "Volume" and then detail all the settings. 1. What inputs are available. 2. Which inputs are selected 3.
