Take a look at this thread, it contains some more detailed information
regarding year/date tags in Custom Scan and standard SBS:

It feels like you will need some kind of tag mapping with the "oneof"
directive to accomplish the selection.
There is no way to make Custom Scan overwrite the year data in the
standard SBS tables in the database, but you can create a Custom Browse
menu based on the Custom Scan data instead of the standard SBS data.
