Yep, thanks for looking into it! And yes, one of the lirc files might indeed work...:) I was also checking into this earlier: http://www.rockabilly.net/sony/ but didn't really have much luck with that back then. But now I see that there is a link to MakeHex application with which you should be able to create PRONTO format codes (http://www.rockabilly.net/sony/Sony_pronto.htm).
