I think the requirement to repeat 2 or 3 times is part of the Sony protocol specification so it makes sense that you need to use the <count> parameter. The other way of doing it would be to add "min_repeat 2" into the "begin remote ... end remote" section of the lirc file but this would then apply to all the commands.

That would require a companion SBS plugin to remote control SqueezeIR over wifi and careful placing of the Controller. It has been done though by a different method (take a look at the entry dated 23 May 2009 on <http://badros.blogspot.com/>). The combination of this and SqueezeIR would make a powerful solution. Another option is here <http://gizmodo.com/5555746/logitech-replaces-harmony-remotes-with-free-apps-for-google-tv> but I don't know if it's iPhone compatible. -- indifference_engine ------------------------------------------------------------------------ indifference_engine's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=20698 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=66795 _______________________________________________ plugins mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins
