And I'm pretty sure that it will never run on directly on a Touch, as it is perl code, not an addon ;-) But, if someone is going to re-write as an addon, to consume less resources so it can run on Touch, then my vote is to retain the current (classic UI) functionality (don't mind if there's an option for touch-to-play). It would be nice though if the items in the song details page provided context menus though. eg. navigate via Custom Browse to a song, long-touch album name to see actions for that context.
