Or possibly even change all menus so they work the same as the standard menus since the song details is a workaround implemented before the TrackInfo stuff even existed. I just suspect that it might make someone who likes the current behavior upset. To be honest I've had some thoughts about implementing a new browsing plugin with a bit less configuration options. The current Custom Browse solution is useful if you like to do something really special but it's too complex to configure for 80% of the other more normal cases. The issue is just to find out what would cover 80% of the cases. The Custom Browse plugin takes the easy road on the requirement part and makes more or less everything possible if you know how to configure it, the problem is just that a lot of potential users decides to not use it because it's too complex to configure. However, I'm not sure yet if it's worth to start doing something new before it gets a bit more clear what Logitech intends to do with these products in the future. -- erland Erland Isaksson 'My homepage' (http://erland.isaksson.info) (Install my plugins through Extension Downloader) (Developer of 'TrackStat, SQLPlayList, DynamicPlayList, Custom Browse, Custom Scan, Custom Skip, Multi Library, Title Switcher and Database Query plugins' (http://wiki.erland.isaksson.info/index.php/Category:SlimServer)) ------------------------------------------------------------------------ erland's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=3124 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=76488 _______________________________________________ plugins mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins
