TouchToPlay is the right step for all devices and its a pity that it wasn't introduced to the Boom. Every single untrained person I let play with the boom is confused by seeing the song infos - sure - they find the play button in the end - but going against (the first) intuition is always bad.
Anyway - if I remember correctly logitech did usability tests before introducing the new behaviour so they have statistics on their side for the newer devices. I also didn't want to start a discussion about pro/con of TouchToPlay. I just want consistency across my menus to not confuse my wife. She's got enough to complain about everything logitech related already, I don't want to give her new ammunition to tease me :D -- bluegaspode 1x SB-Controller+Receiver (Duet), 1xSB-Boom. 1xSB-Radio Server (7.4.1) running on SheevaPlug (Ubuntu) with attached Western Digital MyBook Essential.
