Well, since the "Do not repeat tracks within same playlist" option already let me skip the same file again within the range of all songs I'm not really sure what a path selected "Recently added song" filter would do? However a tag based filter that skipped reoccuring song titles could be of some help (even though different songs have the tendency to share titles). I fully understand the ambition to not complicate this stuff to much, in this case it certainly aint a major issue... :)
