Anyway. I've got a bug fix, will be in the next update. > > By losing sync, I meant things like failing to browse my music > directory or displaying old "now playing" info while something else is > playing (started by Duet Controller). I thought you might have a problem with the library getting out of sync with the library on the server (although iPeng still works), in this case Will also be fixed in the next update (hopefully. It's a difficult one but my beta testers report that the latest try on fixing it might have helped, they are no longer seeing it). > > All in all, I was mostly happy with the reliability of the previous > release of iPeng, and wish I have not updated it. Unfortunately, I > don't know a way to revert with iPad apps. I don't think you'll find the older iPeng versions to be more reliable here. From what I can see it's a change in Squeezebox Server that started to provoke this and the change happened in SBS 7.5.4. It has to do what the server recommends as a reconnect rule under certain circumstances and obviously got changed to "wait for 60s" (and some got interpreted by iPeng that way) which is what iPeng now does. You will see (if you are patient enough, which probably nobody is) that it DOES successfully reconnect after this time. Previous versions of the server always recommended 5 or 10s which was less notable. -- pippin --- see iPeng, the Squeezebox iPhone remote and *New: iPeng for iPad*, at penguinlovesmusic.com ------------------------------------------------------------------------ pippin's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=13777 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=51929 _______________________________________________ plugins mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins
