It's an HP Microserver N36 with 1Gb RAM. I stream high bit rate MKVs to my media player (some peaking around 50mb/s) so I'm pretty sure that the server is not at fault.
Cross fade is now set to 'none' - that is what you meant isn't it? Re-reading your post I'm now not sure if you meant to turn it on? Do you have an estimated timeframe for the next release?
