Seems you have to change the shell setting to /bin/ash

Edit the synology settings in winscp - Advanced - Environment - Shell

You may have to change the File Protocol to SCP

I'd try transferring a non-essential file and try out some operations
such as rename etc. before committing myself to anything serious!
