is that they know in the real world people are busy getting round all
their restrictions and there is little they can do about it. They don't
want to be forced by third parties to change things yet again.  They are
probably under an obligation to use "reasonable endeavours" to prevent
use of the streams, and provided they have done that, it is not their
problem if others are trying "unreasonably" hard to get round their
blocking tactics.

If Squeezeboxers want to have a continuing LA service, they should
probably keep their heads down on the BBC forums.  Stirring things up
may force the BBC to change tack again.  Thanks to BPA et al I now have
Listen Again providing 320 kbps AAC HLS via RTMP using the original
hacks.  I even have BPA's Extras plugin working again.  That is a lot
better than I had before this crisis and want it to stay that way!
