So, I changed the device name and at runtime, it did not change the device description. As a sanity check, I also ran the windows executable and it also did not pick up the device name change. Clearly, the config file is not being parsed correctly. It appears to me looking at the log files that there are defaults written into the compiled code and the first renderer that is detected is added with whatever name it provides. I'd like to get the correct port opened so I can leave the firewall up, but I don't have a sniffer. I also have no clue how to open specific ports on a Mac yet.
