Yes, for each parameter, they are defaults that are set when no config
file is loaded. Such defaults values are "accessible" when you create
the first xml file (I wrote this app, so I know it well ;-). 
But if under windows, the modification to the xml file are not used,
then there is something else. This version has been used by me and few
others 24/7 for a few month and is reasonabily stable under WIndows &
Linux (x86 and ARM) now. Can you attach your config.xml file (remove the
mac address lines, this is fine) but you probably have to zip it or
rename .txt so that the forum accepts it
