Thinking more about this. I can use my phone to stream to one
SqueezePlayer and then use my wife's phone to stream to another and they
both play fine. You just can't play one stream to one target and then
use LMS to group them. But... and this is probably what you were
thinking and went right over my head... if you swapped out the current
build of shairport and replaced it with shairport-sync then you could
probably use iTunes or an iPad to output to several AirPlay targets and
LMS wouldn't even need to be aware that you're sending the same stream
to all of them. But I have a feeling the output still wouldn't be in
sync because LMS isn't aware that it needs to be in sync.

Have you tried syncing to multiple targets from an iPad or iTunes in the
current plugin? I may try this over the weekend if I remember.
