Correct.. you would start a stream to one AirPlay target and then use
another app (I use iPeng) to sync other players to the player that is
outputting the AirPlay stream. The problem with AirPlay sync is only the
iPad and iTunes are capable of outputting to multiple targets. If you
want to go that route then you might as well skip LMS altogether and
just use shairport-sync on it's own.

I think what you have in mind is more of an LMS "output" plugin. Where
LMS can output content in sync to multiple AirPlay devices. Right now
this plugin is an AirPlay "input". It's just a way to get input from an
iOS device so it can proxy it back out to a Squeeze player. It just
doesn't support LMS "sync groups" for some reason.

When I have some time I want to look at some other plugins that do
support sync groups and see if I can patch this plugin to support them.
But as of now I have no experience with LMS plugins and Perl isn't my
primary language so the learning curve will be steep.
