Correct.. you would start a stream to one AirPlay target and then use another app (I use iPeng) to sync other players to the player that is outputting the AirPlay stream. The problem with AirPlay sync is only the iPad and iTunes are capable of outputting to multiple targets. If you want to go that route then you might as well skip LMS altogether and just use shairport-sync on it's own. I think what you have in mind is more of an LMS "output" plugin. Where LMS can output content in sync to multiple AirPlay devices. Right now this plugin is an AirPlay "input". It's just a way to get input from an iOS device so it can proxy it back out to a Squeeze player. It just doesn't support LMS "sync groups" for some reason. When I have some time I want to look at some other plugins that do support sync groups and see if I can patch this plugin to support them. But as of now I have no experience with LMS plugins and Perl isn't my primary language so the learning curve will be steep. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Noel Hibbard's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=62950 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=103783 _______________________________________________ plugins mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins
