Hi! I have lots of multichannel music that I play on my AV Receiver connected SB, through DTS and AC3 files encapsulated in FLAC.
Now, thinking about the approach taken with PlayHLS, I was wondering if there could be a way to have FFMPEG transcode multichannel stuff (it has all the same genre, 5.1, which I could use to filter it). I am using Multilibrary, so as to avoid DTS/AC3 stuff appearing on stereo SBs but... in case the AV Receiver connected SB is synched with other SBs on the network... well, playing back DTS or AC3 on stereo connected equipment it's a recipe for sonic chaos throughout the house (white noise galore). Do you understand what I mean?
