SUCCESS!!! I've managed to have it working at a commandline level. Now it's on to have it working with Squeezebox Server custom-convert.conf, custom-types.conf, custom-strings.txt and so on and so forth...
At least for DTS files. Not sure I'll have it working for AC3, but DTS constitutes the grand majority of my multichannel collection.
