Mine is very similar to the version posted elsewhere on this forum. All
I had to do was add my Play:5 MAC address, and the '-b 16' switch to
ensure the FLACs are converted to 16 bit. Turns out I was 99% there at
my first attempt a few nights back, but the missing '-b 16' switch meant
that Sonos couldn't play the resulting 24/48 flac stream. As you could
see from an earlier post I was getting confused about when PCM or FLAC
streams would be sent.

It was only after the PCM truncation comments by philippe_44 and the
priority comment by yourself that I suddenly realised exactly what was
going on behind the scenes in each scenario, and that anything above
48kHz was being routed down a different processing chain.

Code:
--------------------

  flc flc * *5c:aa:fd:0b:6a:32*
        # FT:{START=--skip=%t}U:{END=--until=%v}D:{RESAMPLE=-r %d}
        [flac] -dcs $START$ $END$ -- $FILE$ | [sox] -q -t wav - -t flac -C 0
*-b 16* $RESAMPLE$ -

--------------------

I'm so pleased with how this plug-in works. I'd been messing around with
playlist files for a few years to bypass the 65K limit (and had given up
trying to play 24 bit files without keeping 2 copies on my system) so
it's absolutely fantastic.
