Thank you for the reply *Wirrunna*. I thought the forum software had eaten my post as it disappeared for ages (probably moderation related, but this wasn't at all apparent!) so I wasn't keeping tabs on this. I did come across that post you linked from 2013 in my searches, however 'a later post in the thread I linked indicates it was working' (http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?103517-Song-Info-amp-Song-Lyrics-plugins-Status-Dead&p=834651&viewfull=1#post834651) (in 2015). So it seemed that there was an update? Unfortunately foobar2000 isn't an option as I'm running Linux primarily, and my player is squeezelite. I'd love a Linux port of fb2k, but none has been forthcoming! I previously used Icecast+mpd to stream music to devices, but switched over to LMS for its synchronisation ability. ncmpc has 'lyrics' (https://packages.debian.org/sid/sound/ncmpc-lyrics) 'plugins' (https://github.com/scheibler/ncmpc-lyrics-plugins); but lack of synchronisation makes listening to music around the house hard on the ears  If *erland's* plugin is indeed dead, I can have a look at porting the ncmpc one as it's pretty short. It's been a long -long- time since I touched Perl though! ------------------------------------------------------------------------ bertieb's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=66044 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=49483 _______________________________________________ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins
