Your points about a large plugin and the fact that the unsupported streams that Extra uses make it more delicate are obviously valid and sufficient, but for me with both plugins, I think the menus are more complicated as they are now, especially with some overlap between functionality (schedules, for example).
For me, the ideal would be a single iPlayer top level (so I don't have to think ahead of time about which plugin has what I want) followed by a choice of Listen Live, Schedules and Categories (or these could even be 3 top level menus with an iPlayer prefix). What appears would be governed by whether Extra was installed, but the menu tree would be unified. Extra subtrees could be identified with some short text or a logo change. I'm not saying this is definitely a good idea, but it seems more intuitive to me. Can I do any of this by customising menu.opml? ------------------------------------------------------------------------ BobSammers's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=66026 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=106132 _______________________________________________ plugins mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins
