MP3 is irrelevant for On Demand - it's just code reusing the same set of option for live. I have found the change BBC have made and while testing a new version of BBCiPlayerEXtra. The interesting item is that Weds R2 program are only available in DASH and Flash/AAC - no HLS. This shows another change which has broken another part of the plugin.
