wondered if she should have checked into a hotel and come in the morning. Not
everyone was accustomed to odd hours of sleep she had grown used to. She
smiled at the man and offered her hand. "Hello. I'm Lani Takachi. I've been
transferred here from the Tokyo House. Sorry to wake you at this hour." Lani
introduced herself, her voice tainted with her Japanese accent.
