whether it is unavoidable or not." He did not ask what had detained her
though he had every intention of finding that out. Mireon had spoken fairly
highly of the girl and had clearly neglected to mention a few things. He
hated to give her this kind of a welcome, but on the other hand he was not
going to allow her to believe that he would tolerate this sort of thing.
