For the first time since he opened the door Derek smiled. He knew the
feeling. "I'll show you to your room," he said and then wondered just where
that was going to be. He had planned on putting her in Julia's room, but
that certainly wouldn't do now. He decided one of the rooms outfitted for
guests would have to be it. A little tweeking of hte computer system would
be necessary to give her the proper access from there, but it wasn't like
they hadn't done that before. She just wasn't going to have any access to
the computer system until tomorrow and if she was as exhausted as she seemed
that shouldn't be a problem. He motioned for her to follow him and led her
up the stairs opening the door to a lavishly decorated room. "Are you
hungry? Is there anything you can think of that you might need?" Playing
host was easier at this point than being boss.
