Nick set his glass down then looked back at her. She was staring at him, being stared
at is not good...He kissed back then stood up and grabbed ahold of her hand. "Because
deep down inside you are a kid?" he shurgged a little then followed her out.

I laughed happily at his horsing around, but his words hit home and I couldn't help
just staring at him. This was it, the moment we had wished for and dreaded all at
once...I leant forward and kissed him tenderly, "no more secrets," I said with a
smile. I stood, putting aside my glass and took his hand. "Why do I suddenly feel like
a little kid again?" I asked as I led him out of the room and towards the stairs. I
guessed Derek would be around here somewhere. I could hear voices and followed them.
