"Somehow, I'm not so certain there will even be safety in numbers," Derek
told her with a small smile. "I can see where they might be useful
occasionally, but I don't feel they should have unlimited access to our
system and files. There are a lot of good people in the world," he added,
"but we do not need them all in the Legacy." He glanced over at her as he
stopped for a traffic light. "I think that would be a wise idea," he said
about the nap.

Julia chuckled at the safety in numbers comment "It's okay Derek, I'll
protect you. But about the two... I can't explain it but they're supposed
to help us. I usually don't ask when I get the vibe from the Big Guy, I
just go with it."
She looked at him and smiled crookedly "Scary huh? I'm being wise now. On
top of being agreeing this morning.... no wonder you've got the protective
vibe going."
They were nearing the ferry with the others following "I could always
refuse to take the nap so we can but heads again so you know I'm still me."
