Derek stopped at the ferry landing waiting for the next boat to arrive. He
turned off the ignition and looked over at Julia looking her in the eye. He
considered telling her that if "the big guy" wanted those two "children" to
help them, he had better start sending the vibes in his direction too.
Perhaps, then he might consider it, PERHAPS. He looked straight into her
blue eyes prepared to say just that, when she started talking about spending
the afternoon fighting with him rather than actually, resting like she
should be. He didn't really want that on his conscience. So, he decided to
humor her instead. "We'll see," he told her. "There's no point in making
that decision this instant. It would be ill informed."
