Derek opened up the laptop and popped the disk in, following her
instructions and he watched as the files flashed before him, taking a bite
of his sandwich from time to time. He'd noticed the disappearing pickle,
but had an idea of where it vanished to. The same place it usually went
when Julia was around. Though, Kat had taken to stealing his lately.
NM:
Kat came over to sit with them and Julia grinned, reached over and tapped
the girl on the nose "How are you feeling, kiddo?"
"Your d-" Sam pulled up her chair just then and Julia stopped and barely
kept from sighing as she sat back and winked at Kat, letting her know she'd
talk with her later.
Julia looked over at the others "We're almost done here, shouldn't be long."
She noticed Kat already looking at Derek's plate and suspected, by the way
Kat ate the pickle off of her own plate what the girl was looking for and so
slipped her pickle onto her plate before sitting back and looking at the
computer screen.
She didn't know why, but Julia suddenly lost her appitite and so left the
rest of her sandwich alone and worked on finishing the process of clearing
the computer.
