Derek:
Derek turned his head as Jonathan poked his head in the room and told him
that he was being paged. He looked back at Megan, still totally confounded.
"Will you excuse me for a moment," he said, a statement rather than a
question. He left the room and headed towards the front door, just in time
to hear a crash. He quickened his pace and froze on the front steps when he
saw Julia laying on the ground. He swore under his breath in Dutch. Why
couldn't she take a simple instruction? No, she had to be running all about
and now she'd gotten hurt. He vaguely noticed Nick's car driving away from
the house in the distance. "Julia," he called hurrying towards her and
knewlling down on the ground beside. "What the Hell were you doing," he
asked as he began to check her over for obvious injuries. "We need to get
you inside, to bed," he said lifting her as he had the day before. "And if
you don't stay there, I will make certain you are tied down," he said
gruffly. He wasn't kidding either at this point he was quite serious. He
told her on multiple occassions not ot over extend herself. Derek started
walking quickly towards the house.
