Derek:
Derek wasn't quite sure where to take her. It was late though and the
reasonable place seemed to be upstairs. All of this just felt so strange,
good but definitely odd. It was after all something he had wanted for a
very long time, but he never expected anything to come of it, not in a
million years. He smiled down at her when she queezed his hand. He enjoyed
the way it felt holding hands with her. In fact it was rather comforting, a
reminder that this wasn't all a dream. He led her up to the second floor,
stopping by his office long enough to turn out the lights, which he had left
on earlier. Then, he continued up to the third floor, hesitating at the
landing as he had to make another conscious decision. When he began to move
again, he led Julia into his room closing the door softly behind them.
