Derek slid his other arm around her waist, drawing her closer to him.  "Yes,
I think so," he told her his own voice soft and his own gaze steady and
sure.  Yes there was that flicker of doubt in the back of his mind,
connected to the feeling of quilt, but he knew what he wanted and he had
made the decision now, he wasn't going back, couldn't even if he had wanted
to do so, which he did not.  "As long as you are," he added giving her the
opportunity to change her mind if she so desired.  He would respect whatever
decision she should make.
