Alex looked at Nick.  They had found a cot under Kat's bed, probably for when her friends came over to spend the night, and had set it up so that they could stay with Rachel during the night with Alex taking the cot and Nick setting up with a couple of chairs and a blanket.   "Go ahead and sleep." Nick offered "I'll wake you up in a few hours and switch."   Alex nodded, looking at Rachel one more time, and then made herself comfortable, closing her eyes to get what sleep she could.
