"i don't know," Kat admitted.  "It could...my mom yells a lot when she gets
mad, so does Derek," she added.  "Julia imight too, I never saw her mad
before."

Ingrid smiled, albeit with a tinge of sympathetic sadness, but answered
"Well neither have I.  I doubt she'll yell though.  Unfortunately... yelling
sometimes is better than the alternative."

"My mother had this look," she admitted "She never once raised her voice to
us... but with that look, one wished she had resorted to yelling.  It was a
look of disappointment."

"And something tells me," she added "That Julia has one of those looks.  But
whether a look or a tone, remember that they do love you Kat.  If they
didn't care about you, they would have never gone in after you, much less be
so worried."
