Sam:
Sam looked at Reese thoughtfully, "you know that's not a bad idea, then the
next time you feel like knocking some guy into next week you can do it
physically." She was trying very hard, harder than she had anything before,
but Julia Walker, who was seemingly the perfect human being according to
these people, was really beginning to get to her. She wanted to change the
subject, and really wanted to ask, what don't you do. But she held her
tongue by some miracle and instead began to eat ehr lunch, keeping her gaze
on Derek hoping he would start talking about something, anything, she'd even
talk sports, though he didn't seem to the type for that.

Kat:
Kat picked up a chicken finger and took a bite of it thoughtfully. "I'd
like to do that," she said, "if my mom would let me. Nick taught me some
stuff."
