Derek:
As Julia stood Derek caught her wrist gently, he started to say something,
but was cut off by Marissa. He nodded her, releasing his light grasp on
Julia's arm. He was certain she would respect Reese's wishes and stay
behind.

Sam:
Sam was quite, even after she knew Reese was standing ther beside her. She
was seething inside and at the same time close to tears. "I'm sorry, I'll
stay away from them from now on," she said her voice strained. It didn't
matter what she did or said, it was clearly always going to be the wrong
thing as long as Julia Walker was around. "I'll take a cab home, you don't
need to drop me off."
