Derek:
Derek smiled at her.  "I could ask for one if you like," he told her
casually, "of course you'd probably have to fight Kat for it."  He took a
bite of his soup and glanced at his sister as they discussed her ability to
kick things and then Yoga.  "You could always change your clothes," he
suggested risking being accused of flat out blasphemy.  However, Philip did
not see fit to wear his official attire all the time, so he didn't see any
reason why his sister should feel so obliged.

Sam:
Watched all this with amusement.  Except the part about the pickle.  For
some reason that made her feel rather uneasy as she ate her salad.  Though
she was hanging on every word he said and her eyes rarely left him.
