"Well, I can't help that she doesn't like me either. And I can't help that
I'm not perfect," she added irritably. "Trust me Reese I have been trying,
I backed off...and you have no idea how much control it's taken to keep my
mouth shut. I have been trying......I even kept to just talking to the
little girl, but obviously that was a stupid plan too. All I suceed in
doing was ticking "her" off."
Reese sighed, "She's not the one that said anything, Sam. You tripped out
when Sister Ingrid said something."
She paused a moment and shook her head "And you haven't given her a chance.
She could have said something when Derek first invited us to sit with him.
She even offered to give you a tour of the library and to let you be in on
the training."
"Face it Sam, you don't like her because you've got the hots for Derek Rayne
and she's there. It's just rubbing against your nerves that she's
protective of him.
"Something," she couldn't help but point out "You are with me. Put yourself
in her shoes without thinking of the Doctor and see if you wouldn't react
the same exact way if someone was romantically chasing me. I dare you."
"Oh yeah." she added, hopping off of the hood and crossing her arms, for
once being the stubborn one "You're not getting dropped off anywhere and
you're going to come back with me and finish lunch. You know why you're
going to?"
