"She didn't have to say anything Reese," Sam informed. "It was in her
eyes....and Sister Ingrid just picked up on it I guess. There was a lot
more to that question than what she asked. And I know perfectly well why I
don't like her," she added looking down at her hands a moments. "You don't
need to point it out. I just don't have the patience to deal with her."
Reese had a point about Sam acting the same way if roles were reversed
though, however that wasn't helping matters. "Look Reese, I know what
you're trying to do and I appreciate it, really I do, but....but the only
way this is going to get any better is if I just cut out. I can't do
anything right when I'm around her and trust me, I get on her nerves just as
much as she gets on mine, she's just better at hiding it." Sam paused her
mouth open to speak when Reese informed she was going to return to lunch.
Sam shook her head fervently. Then crossed her arms across her chest rather
defiantly, "All right, why am I going back," she challenged and her friend
had better have a damned good reason.
