"Yes," she answered starting to feel a little sick to her stomach.  Not
throwing up sick, but sick enough that the snack she had slipped out to get
from Nick's junk food stash, no longer seemed appetizing.


"That's trust, Katherine." Julia elaborated, tone almost sad "That's
something we all had in you.

"Kat you scared us.  You promised to keep the necklace on and you knew and
know that leaving the house like that was wrong, but you did it anyway."

Julia swallowed against the fear she had felt then and remembered now "And
when we found the necklace and you gone.  It scared us, bad.  We thought we
had lost you."

"We did everything we could to get you back even though Miranda was hurting
us and trying to keep you there."

"We found out that you broke your promise to us on your own....but that
didn't stop us from getting you back before you were stuck there
forever...."

The cold feeling that had exploded in her when she had first heard Kat was
gone and then the dread she had felt holding Derek's form after he had
died.....

She looked at Kat, suppressed tears in her eyes as she met and kept the
girl's gaze.  Her voice was a bare whisper "You could have died Kat... died.
Do you realize what that would have done to you, to the people that love
you?"
