Derek smiled somewhat sheepishly and gave Alex a warm hug. "I suppose," he
admitted, "but don't get accustomed to it. Daddy," he intoned thoughtfully.
"Is that what she should call me?" He wasn't sure, he did know that he
didn't want his child calling him father, but that's all he knew right now.

Nick's question caught his attention and he turned his eyes towards the
younger man. "No, she doesn't. You are the first to know, outside of
JOnathan who, seems to just figure these things out. I'm beginning to
believe that he might actually have the Sight."

Nick chuckled "Wouldn't doubt it with that man. Don't feel bad though.. he
has that radar on all of us. I guess that's what makes him so good."

"But yeah," he assured them both about Kat "We can take her to the video
store and do pizza. We just get to take you two out another night. I know,
I know, I'm not the partying kind. But this is a dam-err darn good excuse
to get me in a monkey suit."

His gaze shot to Julia's stomach before he changed his wording and grinned
sheepishly, looking at them both.
