"I suppose it was, but do you really want our daughter going round using
that word?" He leaned against the open car door and looked inside at Julia.
"No, Philip is with them. He caught up to Kristen at eh Cairo House and
apparently came back with them."
Julia leaned toward him and kisses his forehead in the way he reserved for
her, tone both wry and thoughtful as she considered both topics "She won't.
I'll be good. Hmm, if Philip's with them you might want to have Alex or Nick
check his Parish. Only way he wouldn't keep in touch with them is if it was
really bad. And if that's the case we'll know just how worried to be."
"Hopefully," she then traced the back of her fingers against his cheek "I'll
find out where they are after talking to Reese and Sam."
"I'll give you a call when I get over there to let you know." she promised
before lightly kissing him and smiling, starting the engine and fastening
her seatbelt "Call me if something comes up?"
