Megan knew she was running on now and so straightened the purse strap on her
shoulder and stepped back "Anyway, thank you.  I'll give you a call maybe
later in the week or--something."

She then turned to go in, trying to keep her composure and, in a way, glad
she had spoken so quickly that Julia hadn't had a chance to speak.  She
wasn't sure if she would have been able to keep it together if the woman
had.

Julia blinked at the rush of words and could only watch as Megan went inside
before pulling out of the small carport for cabs and others that had fast
pick ups and drop offs.

It was on the way back home that she processed what Megan said.
