"I'm just not sure I understand," she said, looking confused. "I don't
want to sound improper, but isn't Julia supposed to..well, not 'be here'
anymore?" she shied away from using the word 'dead'. It was obvious that
she was a good friend of Philip's and Kristin didn't want to sound
unfeeling. And what about Nick? And Alex-did she know?

Philip stepped aside and kept the bottle in his hand but motioning to the
table "Maybe we should talk. I mean th' information I'm going to give you
is Legacy record so I don't see anythin' wrong with goin' ov'r it again."

He waited for her to sit down and tucked the pills in the pocket of his
flannel shirt before taking a seat himself, sitting in it backwards to be
more comfortable as they talked.

He set his chin on the back of the chair and went into detail about what had
happened in Ireland, what happened to Julia and the service afterward.
There was remembered sadness and pain in his gaze but he went on, telling of
times that described his friendship with the woman.

"An' then when you mentioned her bein' back when we were in Egypt--" he
shook his head, still amazed by it all "I actually wasn't sure if it were
truly her when ye said that. But after seein' her and talkin wi' her. She
is Julia an' somethin' very powerful and special happened that brought her
back."

"Wha' I'm worried abou' now is the trouble she may face wi' the Council." he
admitted, not having said this to anyone else and his gaze worried "Sloan's
here. Ye can bet the Council and Cross aren't far behind."

He looked at Kristin and reached out, touching her hand "Please don't
mention what ye found. No' now with Sloan around. She doesnae need the
added pressure o' them possibly ostrosizing her child."

He realized he was asking a lot of her but he wouldn't be able to forgive
himself if Sloan or the others found out because of his slipup.
